[MLB] Ha-seong Kim, recently showcased impressive defensive plays during the away games

(Denver = Wongeol Jeong) Ha-seong Kim, the shortstop for the San Diego Padres, made significant contributions to the team’s victory against the Colorado Rockies.

On the 9th, 10th, and 11th, the San Diego Padres played away games against the Colorado Rockies.

In three away games as a shortstop, Ha-seong Kim successfully reached first base by drawing walks in all three games. However, he did not record any hits in those three games.

During the first away game on the 9th, Ha-seong Kim drew four balls against Colorado starting pitcher Austin Gomber in the top of the 1st inning, successfully reaching first base. However, the following hits did not lead to a score.

San Diego secured a 9-6 victory in this game.

In the subsequent game the next day, Ha-seong Kim appeared as the 7th batter and drew four balls in the top of the 6th inning. Kim successfully advanced to second base with a walk by Austin Nola. In the following at-bat, Ha-seong Kim scored a run as Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a single.

On that day, San Diego emerged victorious against Colorado with a score of 3-2.

During the final away game on the 11th, Ha-seong Kim successfully reached first base by drawing four balls against Colorado relief pitcher Justin Lawrence. Kim contributed to the team’s lead, scoring a run as a result of Lawrence’s Wild Pitch.

However, in the bottom of the 9th inning, Ryan McMahon tied the game 4-4 with a solo home run, and Colorado secured a 5-4 victory with Nolan Jones’ subsequent walk-off solo home run.
