This annual event features the USMNT taking on a high-caliber opponent from North, Central, or South America, with this year’s match serving as a crucial part of the team’s preparations for the prestigious 2024 Copa América. The announcement was made live during the NBA on TNT Tuesday Pregame Show.

The match will be broadcast live on TNT, Telemundo, Universo, Max, and Peacock, as well as on Fútbol de Primera radio. USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter expressed excitement about facing Brazil, highlighting the opportunity to challenge the team against one of the best in the world. He emphasized Brazil’s talented player pool and rich history, making it an ideal preparation game for the upcoming Copa América. Berhalter also praised the exceptional fan support in Orlando, anticipating an electric atmosphere at Camping World Stadium when facing the five-time World Cup champions.

The second edition of the Allstate Continental Clásico sets the stage for a premier contest as the USMNT takes on the five-time World Cup champion Brazil for the first time since 2018. Currently ranked fifth in the FIFA World Rankings, Brazil aims to secure its 10th Copa América title this summer after finishing as runners-up in 2021 and claiming victory in 2019. This match marks the USA’s return to Camping World Stadium since January 1998, when it secured a 1-0 victory against Sweden with a goal from Roy Wegerle.

Last year, the Allstate Continental Clásico began with a thrilling showdown between the USA and Mexico on April 19 in Glendale, Arizona. Jesús Ferreira of the USMNT scored a late equalizer, resulting in a 1-1 draw against archrival El Tri in front of nearly 56,000 fans.

The design and branding of the Allstate Continental Clásico were led by U.S. Soccer’s Brand and Creative team. The insignia draws inspiration from traditional American sports logos, while the font pays homage to Hispanic culture. The red lines symbolize the USA, while grey represents the opponent.
