Colorado employed the strategies of Vertical Stack and Split Stack to focus on a fast-paced game. In the early stages of the match, this tactic seemed to work well, but as the game progressed, teamwork issues arose. They allowed 22 turnovers, while LA also struggled with 21 turnovers. The day of the game was windy, which added to the difficulty.

Before the game, the Colorado coaching staff stated in an interview that they planned to utilize quick passes and tempo. Indeed, Colorado moved the disc quickly during the game. However, intermittent mistakes occurred, leading to immediate scores for LA.

The scores in the quarters were as follows: Colorado conceded the first quarter 6-7 to LA, led the second quarter 12-11, and then LA turned the game around with a 17-16 lead in the third quarter.

Alex Atkins stood out in the latter part of the game.

With the windy conditions affecting the accuracy of the disc, Atkins excelled by quickly exchanging passes with Quinn Finer, leading to scores.

Colorado and LA battled back and forth until the final moments of the game in a one-point difference match.

The goddess of victory smiled upon LA.
