FOX Nation to Launch New Docuseries ‘Jack Carr Investigates: Carlos the Jackal’
(New York, NY = Aaron Schneider) FOX Nation premiered a new investigative docuseries, ‘Jack Carr Investigates: Carlos the Jackal,’ hosted by former Navy SEAL sniper and bestselling author Jack Carr, on June 29.
The three-part series delves into the life of Carlos the Jackal, a notorious terrorist who eluded capture for decades while orchestrating some of the most infamous attacks of the 20th century. Featuring the only known recorded interview with Carlos himself, the series promises a rare glimpse into the mind of one of history’s most wanted men.
Lauren Petterson, president of FOX Nation, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are proud to partner with Jack on this compelling new series to bring his unique perspective of special operations and knowledge of national security to the FOX Nation audience. His extraordinary insights provide an unprecedented look at one of the most notorious terrorists of the modern era and the global effort to bring him to justice.”
Carr reflected on his fascination with Carlos the Jackal, saying, “I grew up reading about him in any publication I could find. As a kid, I could not understand how intelligence services across the globe were unable to track him down. In this new docuseries, I explore the man behind the myth, the elusive Carlos, the murderer who inspired a new generation of terrorists.”
The series will feature firsthand accounts from former CIA and FBI officials, intelligence experts, and individuals directly involved in the global hunt for Carlos. It examines his self-proclaimed identity as a “professional revolutionary,” shedding light on his attacks, international manhunts, and the intelligence operations that defined his reign of terror.
Viewers will witness pivotal moments from Carlos’ life, including assassinations, kidnappings, and hijackings, while exploring how he consistently outsmarted some of the world’s most sophisticated intelligence agencies before his eventual capture.
Produced by Bright North Studios in collaboration with Kuma Studios, NGI Productions, and Kan 11, ‘Jack Carr Investigates: Carlos the Jackal’ is directed by Yaron Niski, with Solly Granatstein serving as showrunner and executive producer.
Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL with two decades of service, transitioned to writing after leading special operations teams. His debut novel, ‘The Terminal List,’ became a New York Times bestseller and was adapted into a popular Amazon Prime Video series starring Chris Pratt. Since then, Carr has captivated readers with several bestselling novels, including ‘True Believer,’ ‘Savage Son,’ and ‘The Devil’s Hand.’
