Colorado Mammoth Sign Forward Andrew Kew to Two-Year Extension

(Denver, CO = Won Jeong) The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League have signed veteran forward Andrew Kew to a two-year contract extension.
The new agreement will keep Kew with Colorado through the 2027–28 NLL season. After establishing himself as an elite scorer during his first year with the Mammoth, Kew is expected to remain a central part of the team’s offense for the next two seasons.
The 30-year-old was limited by injury to 12 regular-season appearances in 2025–26 but still recorded a career-high 45 goals and 84 points, adding 39 assists. Despite playing in only two-thirds of Colorado’s games, he finished third on the team in scoring and was named a finalist for the 2026 NLL Offensive Player of the Year award.
Kew’s 45 goals tied Vancouver Warriors forward Keegan Bal for the second-highest total in the NLL last season. He scored at least twice in each of his 12 appearances and recorded a hat trick or better in eight games, demonstrating remarkable consistency throughout the season.
Kew also collected 46 loose balls and caused one turnover while accumulating only two penalty minutes.
He continued his strong offensive production in the postseason, recording seven points on four goals and three assists in Colorado’s playoff game against the San Diego Seals.
A native of Oakville, Ontario, Kew completed his sixth professional season by reaching 200 career goals. He also surpassed 450 career points in his final regular-season appearance and now has 452 points on 200 goals and 252 assists.
Kew has played 87 career regular-season games, leaving him 13 appearances away from the 100-game milestone.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound forward was originally selected by the New England Black Wolves with the third overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NLL Entry Draft.
Colorado acquired Kew ahead of the 2025–26 campaign. Working under offensive coordinator Jason Bishop and alongside Will Malcom, Thomas Vela and the rest of the Mammoth offense, Kew quickly established himself as one of the team’s primary scoring threats.
