(Thornton, CO = Won Jeong) Colorado Alpenglow has won the 2024 Western Ultimate League Championship.
On June 2nd local time, Colorado secured a resounding 20-12 victory against Utah at the Pinnacle Athletic Complex in Thornton, Colorado.
In the match, Colorado’s cutter Abby Thorpe led the team to victory with four goals. Thorpe also received the Most Valuable Player award for the season, having scored a total of 23 goals.
Additionally, Colorado’s Ari Nelson was named Offensive Player of the Year, making it two award winners for the team in the 2024 WUL season. Nelson led the league with 23 assists this season.
This marks the first WUL league championship for Colorado since the team’s inception.
