[AUDL] Championship Weekend Set: Wind Chill, Shred, Sol, and Empire to Battle for Title
Semifinals to be Played on August 25, Championship Game on August 26

(Eagan, MN = Wongeol Jeong) The 2023 AUDL Playoffs are in full swing, and the final four teams are set. The Minnesota Wind Chill, Salt Lake Shred, Austin Sol, and New York Empire will all compete for the championship at Championship Weekend on August 25-26 in Eagan, Minnesota.
The Wind Chill and Shred both won their divisional championships on Saturday night. The Wind Chill defeated the Indianapolis AlleyCats 21-18 in the Central Division final, while the Shred topped the Los Angeles Aviators 23-20 in the West Division final.
The Sol and Empire both advanced to the semifinals on Friday night. The Sol defeated the Atlanta Hustle 21-20 in double overtime in the South Division final, while the Empire beat the DC Breeze 24-19 in the East Division final.
The semifinals will be played on Friday, August 25 at 6:00 PM ET and 8:30 PM ET. The championship game will be played on Saturday, August 26 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Wind Chill are the defending champions, but they will face a tough challenge from the Shred. The Shred are the top-ranked team in the AUDL, and they have been dominant all season.
The Sol and Empire are also two of the top teams in the league. The Sol are led by star player Ben Jagt, while the Empire have a deep roster with a lot of experience.
The 2023 AUDL Championship Weekend is shaping up to be a great event. The four remaining teams are all capable of winning the title, and it should be an exciting weekend of ultimate.
