[NLL] Colorado Mammoth Charge to 6th Straight Win, Tying 14-Year Franchise Record
Mammoth tie all-time franchise record with 6-game winning streak

(Denver, CO = Won Jeong) Supported by the stellar goalkeeping of veteran Dillon Ward and the offensive firepower of Andrew Kew, the Colorado Mammoth have extended their relentless winning streak to six games.
On the 13th (local time), in a Week 12 matchup of the 2025-26 National Lacrosse League (NLL) season held at Lee’s Family Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Colorado Mammoth secured a dramatic 13-12 victory over the Las Vegas Desert Dogs.
The contest was fierce from the opening whistle. While Colorado took an early 4-3 lead in the first quarter, the home team mounted a fierce comeback in the second. Struggling to contain the duo of Mitch Jones and Jonathan Donville, the Mammoth headed into halftime trailing 5-7.
The second half, however, belonged to Colorado. Andrew Kew ignited the comeback with a hat trick immediately following the start of the third quarter, shifting the momentum in favor of the Mammoth. By mid-fourth quarter, Colorado had widened the gap to 13-9. Although Las Vegas went on a late three-goal surge to bring the game within one, the Mammoth defense held firm to prevent an equalizer.
Andrew Kew was undoubtedly the hero of the night, spearheading the attack with 5 goals and 1 assist. Meanwhile, “elite playmaker” Will Malcom facilitated the victory by providing 6 assists.
On the defensive end, “living legend” Dillon Ward delivered a magnificent performance. Ward guarded the net against a barrage of shots, racking up 43 saves. With this game, Ward climbed to 5th all-time in NLL minutes played by a goaltender, marking a historic milestone for both the player and the franchise.
With this victory, the Colorado Mammoth have tied their franchise record of six consecutive wins, a feat not achieved since 2012. Now sitting at 7-2 for the season, the Mammoth have secured a favorable position in the race for the league lead.
On the other side, the Las Vegas Desert Dogs saw impressive individual performances—Mitch Jones tallied 9 points (3G, 6A) and Jonathan Donville reached a career milestone of 300 points—but these achievements were overshadowed by the team’s narrow loss.
The surging Colorado Mammoth will look to set a new franchise record tomorrow, the 14th, as they chase their 7th straight win against the Toronto Rock.
