(Denver, CO = Won Jeong) The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) have made a major move to strengthen their offensive lineup, acquiring forward Andrew Kew from the Georgia Swarm. The trade also brings Colorado a second-round pick in the 2026 NLL Entry Draft and a conditional second-round pick in 2028, in exchange for forward Connor Kelly and a protected first-round pick in 2026.

Under the deal’s conditions, the 2028 second-round pick to Colorado will drop to a third-round pick if Kelly does not play for Georgia during either the 2025–26 or 2026–27 seasons. Conversely, if the Mammoth finish in the bottom five of the league standings next season, the first-round pick owed to Georgia will be deferred to 2028.

“Andrew is a highly skilled, proven scorer who will immediately bolster the left side of our offense this season and for years to come,” said General Manager Brad Self. “His consistency and impact on the power play make him an ideal fit for our system, and we’re thrilled to have him join the team.”

Kew, a native of Oakville, Ontario, tallied 74 points (28 goals, 46 assists), 90 loose balls, and three caused turnovers in 17 games with the Swarm during the 2024–25 season. He also added two assists in Georgia’s playoff appearance. Over the previous two seasons, Kew posted 193 points (79g, 114a) and 183 loose balls across 33 games, including a standout 106-point season in 2022–23.

Originally drafted third overall in 2019 by the New England Black Wolves, Kew quickly made an impression, recording 42 points in just 10 games as a rookie. After a productive sophomore campaign with Albany (59 points), he was traded to Georgia, where he established himself as one of the league’s premier left-side scorers.

Kew now joins a strong offensive unit alongside Will Malcom, Connor Robinson, and Thomas Vela, as the Mammoth continue to reshape their roster ahead of the upcoming NLL season.

In his two seasons with Colorado, Connor Kelly contributed 124 points (69g, 55a), 106 loose balls, and seven caused turnovers in 29 appearances.

With this move, the Mammoth signal their intent to stay competitive in the evolving NLL landscape—adding scoring depth, veteran skill, and long-term offensive stability.
